The Taurus dispute in the traffic lights continues.
Strack-Zimmermann remains against Scholz - Baerbock's new sentences don't sound like a denial either.
Berlin - It has been one of the main conflict issues in the traffic light coalition for months: Should Germany comply with Ukraine's request and deliver the Taurus cruise missile?
While Chancellor Olaf Scholz has received a lot of criticism in recent weeks for his clear “no”, a large part of the German population continues to support this decision.
The situation is different for Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann (FDP).
She continues to oppose Scholz.
Federal Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock also does not want to rule out a Taurus delivery.
Union announces another vote on Taurus delivery - Strack-Zimmermann continues against Scholz
The Union would like to have the Bundestag vote again next week on the delivery of the Taurus rocket to Ukraine.
Two weeks ago, the Union had already failed with a similar application with the demand to “finally and immediately comply with the Ukrainian request for the delivery of Taurus cruise missiles from available Bundeswehr stocks to the greatest possible extent”.
From the coalition, only the chairwoman of the Defense Committee, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, voted for the Union proposal.
In an interview with

the FDP politician continues to oppose Scholz and makes it clear: Nothing has changed in her position.
Her opinion is known and she also wants to speak out in favor of delivery in the next vote.
FDP party colleague Wolfgang Kubicki also recently announced
a traffic light riot in an interview with the
Munich Merkur .
Baerbock after meeting with Cameron for “intensive” examination of a Taurus delivery to Ukraine
According to Kubicki, at least a dozen other coalition colleagues would have liked to vote for the Union proposal in the last vote, but then submitted to coalition discipline.
Is Annalena Baerbock now also breaking discipline?
At least she no longer ruled out a Taurus delivery to Ukraine.
After a meeting with British Foreign Minister David Cameron in Berlin, she said at a joint press conference: “You know that we as a federal government as a whole ask ourselves every day what more we can do to help Ukraine defend itself against Russian aggression to support."
Cameron emphasized that he could tell from experience how effective long-range weapons are in defending Ukraine.
Baerbock, who gave a consistent picture at the press conference with Cameron, was in favor of examining a Taurus delivery “intensively”.
In the heated Taurus debate, Strack-Zimmermann continues to oppose Scholz.
Annalena Baerbock also doesn't want to rule out a delivery to Ukraine.

Chancellor Olaf Scholz continues to reject the delivery of the cruise missiles because he fears that Germany could be drawn into the Ukraine war by providing them.
He emphasized that German soldiers should not be linked to the targets of the cruise missiles at any time.
Some experts and coalition partners refuted this statement: German soldiers are not necessarily needed to use the Taurus.
There was also criticism from Great Britain and France, which have already delivered cruise missiles to Ukraine.
The wiretapping scandal in the Bundeswehr only caused a further escalation in the heated debate.
Taurus cruise missiles are characterized by their long range: the weapons can precisely reach targets more than 500 kilometers away.
They are therefore more powerful than the Storm Shadow and SCALP cruise missiles developed by Great Britain and France.
