In an atypical gesture due to her low profile,
Karina Milei
, sister of President
Javier Milei
and general secretary of the Presidency, released a video in which she shows how the new Hall of the Heroes turned out, the name with which the Government replaced the Hall of the Women hours before the feminist mobilization for 8M.
The Secretary General of the Presidency presented the remodeling of the place, through a record that was broadcast by the Casa Rosada Twitter account and which had its own voiceover.
The exactly one minute long video has the national anthem in the background and the voice-over of Karina Milei.
"We come to honor the heroes of our history, those who made Argentina a great country, many of whom were hidden and ignored by the last governments," says Karina Milei in the video published from the X de the pink House.
"We celebrate the heroes of Independence and we celebrate the protagonists of our best years," says Karina Milei while the video shows the plaque of former president Julio Argentino Roca.
"Proceres who gave their lives for the country," she continues.
"This administration is not going to promote militancy from the State that generates discord and division among Argentines," adds the president's sister while they cover the painting of Juana Azurduy.
The images show how paintings of the heroes were hanging and after the pan in which Carlos Saúl Menem appears, Karina Milei is seen uncovering the painting by Juan Bautista Alberdi.
"The great history, the great Argentine feat, does not matter. Tributes that are valid today and will be valid in 100 years and not
the sterile political nod to a militant movement of the militant movement of the moment,
which Argentine women do not need either," concludes Karina Milei.
One by one, the heroes chosen by the Government for the former Women's Hall
Among the heroes selected by the Government for the new hall are Juan Bautista Alberdi, Julio Argentino Roca and Domingo Faustino Sarmiento.
There are also Manuel Belgrano and José de San Martín.
And one of the most controversial, former president Carlos Saúl Menem.
