The scandal that broke out in the match between
Barracas Central
and
Independiente
, for the ninth round of the Professional League Cup, added
a new chapter
this Friday .
The referee of the match,
Pablo Dóvalo
, filed a criminal and civil complaint this Friday for threats against the technical director of the Avellaneda club,
Carlos Tevez
.
The day after the match, valid for the ninth round of the Professional League Cup, the
Argentine Referees Association
had repudiated Tevez's statements.
He had also announced that he would initiate legal action, something that took place in the last few hours.
The lawyers of the union institution headed by
Federico Beligoy
, also National Director of Arbitration, advised Dóvalo and accompanied him to make the judicial presentation, according to journalist Gustavo Carabajal.
Dóvalo's complaint arose from the explosive statements of Tevez, who after the match had accused the referee of "robbery."
"We already knew that we were playing against 14. We are still hot. This guy has to finish it because he shits on the work of the boys and the club. I'm not talking about the referees, but this makes it very difficult and very noticeable, which is the most worrying. He already has a history with Barracas, and he comes and steals from you anyway, it's crazy," said Apache, who felt outraged after
Alexis Domínguez
's brutal infraction on
Iván Marcone
, which was punished with a reprimand.
