The

United States Department of Defense

published its long-awaited report on UFOs this Friday, although followers of the “UFO” phenomenon were not very satisfied.

According to the Pentagon,

there is no evidence

that there have been extraterrestrial visits to our planet or that US authorities are hiding the existence of spacecraft from the public.

The document, prepared by the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), in 2022, had been commissioned by the North American Congress due to the growing interest of the population.

"The AARO found no evidence that any investigation by the United States Government and academics has confirmed the sighting of a UFO of

extraterrestrial technology

," concludes the 63-page report that brings together classified and unclassified information.

The office maintains that sightings of unidentified flying objects are actually

"ordinary phenomena"

that turn out to be "misidentified."

He also highlights that all investigations carried out to date by foreign governments have reached the same conclusion.

To prepare the report, researchers had "full access" to all sensitive US Government programs, such as those of the Department of Defense, the Army and the intelligence services.

According to the document, the United States has been investigating UFO sightings since 1945 to determine if they pose a risk to aviation, if they are technology from a foreign country or if they are aliens, a point that

has not been proven.

The researchers detail that the large amount of content about aliens in popular culture has generated the "perception" in a part of the population that

the Government has been conspiring

since the 1940s to hide the existence of extraterrestrials from the public.

"The AARO recognizes that many people sincerely believe these versions, based on their perceptions, the experiences of other people they trust, or media they consider reliable," the document says.

Last year

David Grusch

, a former US Air Force intelligence officer, stated before the US Congress that authorities are in possession of both spacecraft of extraterrestrial origin and the remains of their occupants.

Furthermore, in late 2023, three anonymous sources revealed that since 2003, a secret CIA office

secretly recovered several unidentified flying objects

that were scattered in different parts of the world.

These are at least nine

“non-human ships”

, several of them destroyed and two intact.

The “secret CIA office” to which the sources refer is the Office of Global Access (OGA) belonging to the Science and Technology Directorate of the US intelligence agency.

“There are at least nine vehicles.

There were different circumstances for each one.

It has to do with the physical condition they are in.

If it crashes, a lot of damage is caused.

Others, two of them, are completely intact,” one of the anonymous sources specified to DailyMail.

All three boasted of having had first-hand information from people who were involved in the collections.

Conflicting reports

The new study contradicts other reports that have come to light recently.

Last year, the Pentagon itself assured that

an extraterrestrial spacecraft was able to orbit near Earth

and send probes to analyze the conditions of our planet.

The authors of the report were Sean Kirkpatrick, director of the AARO, and Abraham Loeb, chair of the astronomy department at Harvard.

Some time ago, the Pentagon published videos about the existence of UFOs.

They indicated that “an artificial interstellar object could potentially be a

mother ship

that ejects many small probes during its approach to Earth, something similar to NASA missions.

These 'dandelion seeds' could be separated from the ship by the gravitational force of the Sun or be a maneuver of their own."

They also mention that “with the right design,” the probes could reach Earth and other planets in the solar system “for exploration,” while the ship passes between the planet and the Sun.

The videos that surprised the world

Unlike this last report, in 2020 the same Pentagon released

three videos in which “unidentified aerial phenomena” are observed.

The recordings show what appear to be fast-moving flying objects that were recorded with temperature-detecting cameras.

In two of these records you can hear the voices of the pilots observing the objects, and highlighting how fast they move.

These footages had been released by a private company last year, but this Monday they were officially confirmed by the Pentagon.

They did so “to clarify any public misunderstanding about whether those images that were circulating are real or whether or not there were more details in those videos,” said Defense Department spokeswoman Sue Gough.

Video

The recordings had been revealed privately and were taken by pilots of two F-18 Hornets.

The Pentagon had dedicated itself to exploring this type of phenomenon in a classified program that began in 2007, but was ended in 2012 because the funds were allocated to other areas.

Luis Elizondo, the former director of that program, told CNN in 2017 that

“there is compelling evidence that we may not be alone.”

David Fravor, one of the pilots who had recorded this object in 2017, told CNN that “as we approached, it moved rapidly towards the south, then disappeared in less than two seconds.”

He added that “it was extremely abrupt, like a ping pong ball bouncing off a wall.”

“These aircraft – we will call them aircraft – have characteristics that are not recorded in any inventory of the United States or in any other inventory in the world, as far as we know,” added the expert, who resigned in protest at the withdrawal of funds.
