Women are voters and eligible under the same conditions as men.

» declared General de Gaulle on April 21, 1944. This order, closely linked to the role played by women during the resistance and in Free France approved in March 1944, is the result of a long fight since 1789 and a joint action of feminists and suffragists from around the world.

So I worked on time.

Because it took a long time: only 80 years but already 80 years!

It is illustrated on the coin by an infinite spiral of ballot papers which are so many opinions, voices, ideas and choices which arrive in the ballot box.

The face of this woman, against a background of legal texts, is worthy of a Marianne and represents women in general whose voice is increasingly courageous, to be listened to rather than heard.

Despite the progress made, real equality is far from being achieved, we still have a lot to do and this is why it is essential to recall the stages of this struggle today and through this monetary collection.
