“Why are people lining up?
» says a surprised lady who came to do her shopping at Ulis 2 this Friday March 8 afternoon.
She is surprised by the excitement around La Barque aux livres, the shopping center bookstore, where a queue extends into the gallery.
As she approaches, she understands: Sinik, rapper of the 2000s who sold 1.4 million albums with titles like “Le Same Sang”, “Autodestruction” or even “I realize”, came to sign his published book the day before, published by Faces Castés, “A wonderful era”, taking the title of one of his hits.
“You have hello from Pascal,” says a fan.
" Oh !
how is he ?
immediately smiles Thomas Idir, alias Sinik.
He made me do some stupid things, that one.
Say hello to him.
» For several hours, the signing session will reflect this image: a succession of inhabitants of the Les Ulis districts, proud to see or see again "the child of the country who succeeded and who has not forgotten Les Ulis".
The fifty copies planned by the booksellers were quickly sold out.
