A 22-year-old man, belonging to the ultra-right movement, was indicted and imprisoned on Friday March 8,

learned from the national anti-terrorism prosecutor's office (Pnat), confirming information from BFMTV.
The charges of
“terrorist criminal conspiracy with a view to preparing one or more crimes against persons”
and
“acquisition, possession and transfer of category A, B and C, in relation to a terrorist enterprise
.
This young man is suspected of having participated in discussions on a social network
“even though he was fully committed to the ideology of the violent ultra-right”
, a source close to the matter tells us.
In his discussions, the accused notably mentioned
“combat training and violent action projects linked to ultra-right ideology”
, adds our source.
He was arrested on Tuesday March 5 as part of an investigation carried out since June 2023 by the General Directorate of Internal Security (DGSI) into acts of ultra-right terrorism.
With him, two other suspects were arrested and taken into custody before being released without prosecution at this stage.
