A 24-year-old young man ended up
beating a group of women
after trying to drive his motorcycle through the middle of a march for 8M and against gender violence, which brought together thousands of people in Mexico City.
The march, held as in other countries and even in several other Mexican cities to commemorate
International Women's Day
, took place on Friday in the central area of the Mexican capital.
A crowd took to the streets.
This generated countless
difficulties for vehicular traffic
in the city's usually busy arteries, which ended up exasperating the spirits of more than one, unable to reach their destination.
That was what happened to a young motorcyclist, who on board his vehicle wanted to pass through the numerous women who had gathered near the National Museum of Fine Arts in the Mexican capital and from there head towards the Zócalo, the historic center of the city.

The young man, 24 years old, was surrounded by women who
began to insult him
, as can be seen in a video that a witness took with his cell phone.
"Son of a bitch," is one of the expletives directed at him, as can be heard in the recording.
From insults
to pushing and slapping.
The driver ended up in a melee with one of the young women, whom he ended up lifting with both arms and throwing her back against the asphalt.
That sparked a widespread reaction.
On the one hand, several girls joined in and started hitting the biker;
while others, less violent, only dedicated themselves to painting the motorcycle green with the cans of spray paint they carried.
Finally, the young man - whose name, in addition to his age, was only known to be
Alex
- had to be rescued by a police officer.
He ended up detained for 24 hours, accused of having beaten at least two women attending the march.
