Pop star Giovanni Zarrella insisted on supporting brother Stefano at the “Let’s Dance” rehearsals.

Then professional dancer Mariia Maksina suddenly began to cry.

Cologne – Back to the 90s: That’s the motto of the second “Let’s Dance” episode.

This time Stefano Zarrella (33) dances a cha-cha-cha to the Santana hit “Smooth”.

However, the rehearsals didn't go quite so smoothly.

The Latin American dance demanded a lot from the food influencer.

But you can rely on his big brother – pop star Giovanni Zarrella (46).

A gesture that moves “Let’s Dance” professional dancer Mariia Maksina (27) to tears.

Giovanni Zarrella supports Stefano at “Let's Dance” rehearsals: Maria moved to tears

Stefano Zarrella and “Let's Dance” professional dancer Mariia Maksina want to build on their 18-point success from show one.

But everything goes wrong at the dress rehearsal.

“The first round wasn’t quite as good and the second round was even a bit weaker.

“I wasn’t really there and I was really excited,” said Stefano in an RTL interview.

Everything went well in training in the last few days.

Happy but exhausted, Stefano Zarrella tries to calm down for a brief moment during rehearsals when a guest announces himself.

“Can you disturb me for a moment?” asks Giovanni Zarrella with a grin on his face.

“What are you doing here?

“I didn’t expect that at all,” says Stefano, completely surprised.

It is more than clear that he is really happy about his brother's visit and so the two Italians immediately fall into each other's arms.

"Enjoy it.

You will be incredibly well prepared from Friday.

Enjoy it,” says Giovanni Zarrella – and he knows what he’s talking about.

In 2017, the pop star danced his way to fourth place on “Let’s Dance”.

His brother’s support and good advice means “the world” to Stefano.

“That he supports me.

That really saved my day,” he reveals.

With so much sibling love, professional dancer Maria Maksina immediately begins to cry.

“Aaawww, now I’m sensitive,” she has to admit, wiping a tear from her face.

“Let's Dance” star Stefano Zarrella is suffering from a treacherous illness

Stefano Zarrella delights viewers with his charisma on “Let's Dance”.

Behind the broad smile, however, he hides the concern that an illness will endanger Stefano Zarrella's participation in “Let's Dance”.

Stefano Zarrella in the “Let’s Dance” midfield: Tillman Schulz is out

Despite support from Giovanni Zarrella, Stefano and Maria still cannot build on their success from show one.

This time the “Let’s Dance” jury only gave her 14 points for her cha-cha-cha.

But it was enough for the next round.

For Tillman Schulz, however, it worked out.

The “The Lion’s Den” investor not only received the fewest jury points – seven in total – but also the fewest calls from viewers.

Speaking of which: Stefano Zarrella and Maria Team call themselves “Mazarrella” based on both of their names and their Italian roots.

A former “Let’s Dance” candidate has now revealed what happens behind the scenes.
