Ukraine apparently massively attacked Russia with drones during the night.

According to Russian information, the southern Russian region of Rostov near the Ukrainian border was particularly affected, where 41 attacks were recorded alone.

Independent media reported that the Ukrainian attacks in the region also targeted a Russian military aircraft factory.

Initially nothing was known about any damage there.

Several drones were also destroyed when approaching the city of Morozovsk, around 230 kilometers from the regional capital Rostov-on-Don. 

According to official information, the anti-aircraft defense system in the southern Russian city of Taganrog on the Sea of ​​Azov also repelled a massive Ukrainian drone attack during the night.

The consequences of the attack on the ground are still being assessed, said the governor of the Rostov region, Vasily Golubev, in his Telegram channel.

An employee of the Ministry of Civil Defense who was involved in clearing up the consequences was taken to hospital with injuries, but his life was not in danger, the governor said.

According to the Moscow Defense Ministry, a total of 47 “Ukrainian regime” drones were shot down in four Russian regions.
