A driver burned to death in his car after an accident in Syke (Diepholz district).
Other drivers saw the burning vehicle next to the road on Friday evening and alerted the emergency services, the police said.
The fire department extinguished the fire and the driver burned to death in the car.
Syke - According to initial findings, his car left the road in a slight curve and crashed head-on into a tree at high speed.
The car is said to have immediately started to burn.
The cause of the accident was initially unknown.
The investigation was ongoing.
