Eight people were slightly injured in an accident on the A6 near Bad Rappenau in the Heilbronn district.
Among the nine vehicles involved in the accident was an ambulance that was transporting a patient, a police spokesman said early Saturday morning.
The patient was taken to hospital in another ambulance after the accident.
Bad Rappenau - The other injured people also came to the hospital.
As the spokesman said, the accident occurred on Friday evening for reasons that are still unclear.
The exact process is still unclear.
According to initial findings, there was a collision between the vehicles, but the cause was not initially known.
According to the police, the accident caused damage amounting to around 100,000 euros.
