Did they want to intimidate those around them with brutal behavior?

Two young men from Warngau and Tölz were sentenced to fines at the district court.

The judge warned people to refrain from “macho behavior”.

Holzkirchen

– Two young men from Bad Tölz and Warngau, both 21 years old, appeared in court in Miesbach because of a real chase.

However, the subject of the accusation was only an insult, which seemed comparatively harmless compared to the rest of the incident.

The public prosecutor dropped the accusation of coercion before the trial began.

The matter began in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant in Holzkirchen.

The two defendants said that they had arranged to meet friends at another meeting point.

But as they were leaving the parking lot, a BMW driver flashed their headlights opposite them.

They therefore assumed it was an acquaintance and followed the car at a normal pace.

Then both drivers stopped and it became apparent that they didn't know each other.

The Warngauer assured that there were certainly no insults: “We were polite and nice.”

Those being chased dial the emergency number in panic

The incident sounded far less harmless from the perspective of two of those affected, a Holzkirchner and a Wiesseer, both 19 years old.

As they were leaving the parking lot, the other car came towards them at high speed on their lane, which is why their driver flashed their headlights to warn them.

Then the other driver stopped and yelled at her.

After an explanation and apology, they thought the matter was over.

But as they continued their journey, the other car suddenly followed them.

He repeatedly moved into the oncoming lane up to their level and used a hand signal to ask them to stop.

Then she panicked.

They called the police emergency number but were told they should come to the station.

But out of fear that the situation would escalate when they got out, they continued driving, with the pursuer forcing them to overtake again.

Then a second car appeared behind them.

The Warngauer then slowed them down and forced them to stop.

The second car - containing the defendant's friends - wedged them in from behind.

The driver got out and shouted at them through the window that it was “his domain” and that they should “fuck off”.

He also used a violent swear word and threatened a fight.

When they were finally able to drive on, an object flew onto the roof of their car.

Warning of false statements: the defendant suddenly falls silent

The Warngauer admitted that he may have used his tone a bit wrong, which he regrets very much.

The occupants of the second car could do little to shed light on the matter.

The two passengers were apparently so busy with their cell phones that they didn't want to notice the whole incident.

The driver indicated a completely different direction of travel, but fell silent after the judge warned him about making a false statement.

The case against the Tölzer co-driver was finally dropped for a fine of 200 euros.

The judge sentenced the insightful Warngauer to a fine of 500 euros.

He made a good impression, he said.

However, he should refrain from his “macho behavior” and spend his excess energy doing sports in the future.

After the trial ended, the Warngauer apologized to the other side with a handshake.
