Please get on: (from left) Holzkirchen's mayor Christoph Schmid symbolically welcomed his colleagues Bernhard Schäfer, Leonhard Obermüller and Michael Falkenhahn on board the Hoki+ call bus.
The timetable extension is being closely followed by District Administrator Olaf von Löwis as well as Joana Heuberger and Richard Pürner.
omobi managing director Clemens Deyerling ensured the rapid implementation.

After the great success of the Hoki on-demand bus, three seven-seater minibuses under the name Hoki+ are now also on the road in Otterfing, Valley and the northern part of Warngau.
Holzkirchen – The Holzkirchner on-demand call bus Hoki recently celebrated its 50,000th anniversary after only around one and a half years of operation.
Passengers transported within the market town.
This success led to three seven-seater minibuses now operating in Otterfing, Valley and the northern part of Warngau under the name Hoki+.
Hoki now also in Otterfing, Valley and Warngau
As Holzkirchen's mayor Christoph Schmid noted at the official presentation of the timetable extension, it only took 25 minutes for the first booking to arrive from one of the neighboring towns: "A sign that the citizens have really been waiting for it."
As Schmid says, he hardly knows of any municipal project that was as positively received right from the start as Hoki: “Public transport in rural areas works when the famous three Ts – timing, tariff and speed – fit together.” Things have noticeably relaxed with the Hoki also the stationary traffic: “Many people leave their cars at home.
I recommend everyone to try out the Hoki, also because it can be quite a communicative thing.”
District Administrator Olaf von Löwis said that the Hoki+ is also being closely monitored in the Miesbach district office and subsidized with 150,000 euros annually: “The Hoki is taking on a pioneering role in the district and perhaps other areas in the district will soon follow.”
Warngau's second mayor, Leonhard Obermüller, thanked Holzkirchen for its courage and willingness to innovate: "That, and 50-seater buses driving around empty, are the future for public transport in our district."
Valley's mayor Bernhard Schäfer highlighted a significant improvement in mobility for younger and older people in particular and added with a wink: "A project for which the community even gets praise." Otterfing's town hall boss Michael Falkenhahn sees the offer as a significant improvement all around: "We "We weren't exactly well equipped with stops for the call-share taxi (AST), so I'm pleased that it's now worked out." Up to now, passengers in the Holzkirchen municipality area have been able to use around 250 stops to get on and off.
With Hoki+: Many new stops
With the Hoki+ there are 65 stops in Valley, 29 in Otterfing and 56 in Wargnau.
As location promoter and Hoki co-inventor Eva-Maria Schmitz said, the perfect partner for the Hoki was found in the Garmisch transport service provider omobi, which also reflected the desire to expand the offering for the citizens of the communities of Otterfing, Valley and Warngau, quickly and easily could be met.

The fleet of two diesel minibuses was supplemented by an electric vehicle, which will soon have the catchy Hoki design.
The buses, named Otti, Warni and Valli, are chauffeured by six permanent and three temporary drivers who are already busy driving to the new stops.
How do I book a ride with the Hoki
As before, the Hoki+ can be booked by phone 08024/6497699 and via the Hoki app.
The operating hours remain the same (weekdays 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Fridays until 1 a.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.).
Adults pay two euros for a trip within the municipal area.
If it goes beyond a municipal boundary, 3.80 euros is due for adults aged 15 and over.
Children (six to 14 years old), seniors (over 65) and people with disabilities only pay half.
