Construction helmets and bouquet
We see the teams of craftsmen wearing construction helmets through the solid oak wood of the nave frame and on scaffolding as well as a bouquet at the end of the work as tradition dictates.

The spire nearing completion
The spire, rebuilt identically to that of the 19th century architect Viollet Le Duc, is also nearing completion with the installation of its lead cover and the gradual dismantling of the forest of scaffolding which supports it. surrounded.
It should be visible in the Paris sky without any hindrance for the Olympic Games in the French capital while the cathedral is due to reopen on December 8.
The Minister of Culture Rachida Dati also installed an artistic committee on Friday responsible for appointing the artist and the master glassmaker who will design six contemporary stained glass windows for certain chapels of the cathedral.
These stained glass windows, desired by Emmanuel Macron, who made the announcement at the end of December, will be contemporary and installed in six chapels but not before 2026.
Ravaged by a gigantic fire in April 2019, Notre-Dame de Paris must reopen after a titanic five-year reconstruction project.
Its surroundings must subsequently be redeveloped, sector by sector, from 2025 to 2028, according to Paris town hall.
