“Make way for pedestrians, make way for handlebars”, “Fewer cars, safer street”… This Saturday morning, nearly a hundred opponents of the Boucicaut street redevelopment project made their voices heard, in front of the town hall of Fontenay-aux-Roses (Hauts-de-Seine).
The subject is a lot of talk in the community.
It must be said that the operation concerns the city center: the municipality plans to reclassify a 100 m portion of this long artery leading to Châtillon, precisely between the town hall and Place de la Cavée.
Objectives: beautify, revegetate, revitalize and above all calm traffic while the fairly narrow street is used daily by 3,000 vehicles.
