Valeo is participating for the first time, from March 10 to 12, in the South By Southwest 2024 American digital festival in Austin, Texas.
The French automotive supplier, leader in mobility technologies, is presenting a world first: Valeo Racer.
A driving game that is extremely reminiscent of the most famous kart video game in the world – a protected license – with a little mustachioed plumber in a red cap in his low-to-the-ground vehicle, 50, 100 or 150 cc.
Yes but… There is a size difference.
The game, developed with Unity, a gaming juggernaut, integrates the real environment of your car, offering a unique experience and new challenges with each journey.
“It's not a virtual world, but the real thing around you, which you see through the windows of the car, in augmented reality,” summarizes enthusiastically Geoffrey Bouquot, Valeo's innovation director.
