Annual general meeting of the Zustorf fire brigade association - Johann Buchner remains chairman, but has a new deputy at his side.
Zustorf
– The Zustorf volunteer fire department redesignated its board at its general meeting.
The returning officer was Mayor Josef Straßer, who had no trouble with the election.
Johann Buchner remains the first chairman.
His new deputy is Michael Forster.
Sebastian Scheckenhofer runs the cash register and Albert Kellerer remains the secretary.
Josef Buchner and Manfred Reif remain auditors.
A special thank you went to Werner Kellerer, who was deputy chairman for six years.
As such, he did not run for office again.
But he will remain with the club as an equipment manager.
Nadja Steiger reported from the youth fire department, which, among other things, collected 217 Christmas trees.
A lot of donations were also collected.
Young people took part in the Clean Landscape campaign.
The junior staff supported the solstice celebration and all passed the knowledge test that took place in Dorfen.
There are 15 practice sessions for the youth, and they also successfully completed the youth flame.
The club currently has 104 members.
Johanna Götz and Monika Lintsche were newly admitted.
There are still 40 active members, five of whom are young people, because Johann Sedlmeier retired for reasons of age after 45 years of active service.
There was also an exit.
The cash balance increased significantly to 5,900 euros, which was a good thing given the upcoming investments in vehicles and the equipment shed.
Some of the money will be paid for from the club's treasury, said treasurer Sebastian Scheckenhofer.
Mayor Straßer thanked the “enormous number” of hours of service for the general public.
“Everyone sacrifices time!”
The average age of the active team is currently 35 years.
The fire department is particularly proud of its proportion of women.
This exceeds the 20 percent mark – something special, according to Commander Bernard Schwarzbözl.
