Elected Miss France on December 14, 2019, Clémence Botino saw her year of reign disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

So many events in which she was supposed to participate were canceled or postponed.

In 2021, the young woman is chosen by Sylvie Tellier to represent France at Miss Universe.

But upon her arrival in Tel Aviv, Israel, she tested positive for Covid-19.

After ten days of isolation, she was authorized to take part in the 70th edition of the international competition and ranked in the Top 10. Finally, last October, she had the unpleasant surprise of learning that the Miss World election planned December 16 was postponed to 2024 due to elections planned in India.

This succession of events seems to have convinced Clémence Botino to move away from beauty contests.

“After five years of traveling across regions and countries, it is time for me to retire
