According to initial police findings, an incoming train ran over a 13-year-old boy at the Wittenbergplatz subway station in Berlin-Schöneberg.
The child was taken to the hospital on Saturday afternoon with serious injuries to the legs and head area, as the Berlin police announced on Sunday.
According to a police spokeswoman, the boy's life is not in danger.
Berlin - According to initial findings, the 13-year-old fell onto the tracks without any outside influence, it was said.
The police are now investigating the exact incident.
