KKL-Junk invites the public to take part in the week of good deeds to preserve the environment and strengthen the nation during the war. The Day of Good Deeds will be celebrated on March 19, 2024 across the country and the Kimat Israel Foundation will hold an entire week of good deeds, between the dates March 17-21, 2024.
The variety of events And the activities will be held as a sign of protecting the environment and the community, while connecting the activities to the war and its effect on the country's residents. Families who were evacuated from their homes, students from educational institutions throughout the country, retirees and the general public
will take part in the activities. , said KKL chairman, Yifat Ovadia Loski.
"This year, in light of the war, we will do it in connection with the special situation in the country with the intention of reaching the families of the evacuees and as wide a variety of audiences as possible and precisely in this period to enable a different, experiential and experiential activity during these difficult war days."
Each day during KKL-Junk's Good Deeds Week, different and special environmental activities will take place - with the aim of strengthening the connection to the Land of Israel, and encouraging voluntary, contributing activities among students, retirees, and the general public.

The activities that will be held throughout the country
"protecting the environment"
forest cleaning and cultivation activities, educational stations and ODT activities with KKL-Junk guides, creative workshops on ecology and environment:
- a graffiti workshop on a huge banner in the context of the place and the Iron Swords War which will be transferred to an exhibition of artists in the Mitzvah Borders - for the benefit of the evacuees.
- A workshop for making flags and environmental protection signs, including a march to raise awareness for environmental protection.

"Day of Good Deeds"
as part of the Good Deeds Week, the public is invited to participate in activities in the forest: cleaning, pruning, etc. There will be creative workshops: a dream catcher and making a bracelet of hope for the return of the abducted, as well as sessions on sustainability and the environment.

"Cleaning your head" in the Rat Forest
as part of the happening for families and to conclude the week of good deeds, the public is invited to take a little time out and "clean your head and the forest".
We will include in the activity a short tour that includes the cleaning of the forest paths and an experiential presentation for children: "The Adopted Tree" - in which they are exposed to the good actions that the trees "do" to the environment.
