Two sound breakdowns and guests who simply talk at each other: Jungle camp winner Lucy Diakovska's “Riverboat” interview didn't quite go according to plan.
Leipzig – When Kim Fisher (54) and Wolfgang Lippert (72) invite you to the “Riverboat” talk session, then the stars come.
On March 9th, guests included Axel Schulz (55), Maria Simon (48) and Lucy Diakovska (47).
The latter raves about her time in the jungle camp, chats about her childhood and remembers her late mother.
But in the first half of the interview, Lucy Diakovska can hardly be heard due to a sound breakdown and then suddenly everyone is talking at once.
Guests can hardly be heard: Embarrassing sound breakdown on the MDR riverboat causes a stir
Lucy Diakovska is not only a member of the No Angels, but also the reigning jungle queen since February 4, 2024.
This is still unbelievable for her, as she reveals in the MDR “Riverboat”.
“I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!” was an enriching experience for Lucy - and her enthusiasm is contagious.
Boxing legend Axel Schulz listens with interest, but is still unsure whether the jungle camp could actually be something for him because of the low food rations.
Actress Maria Simons, on the other hand, would take part immediately.
However, the reasoning behind why she would be willing to go into the jungle is a bit lost.
A particularly unpleasant crackling noise could be heard - for a good minute.
But that wasn't the only sound glitch of the evening.
Jungle camp escape: These celebrities left “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” voluntarily
Some stars couldn't stand it in the jungle camp and said the famous words: "I'm a star - get me out of here!"
Who exactly was that?
After the first sound breakdown: “Riverboat” interview by jungle camp winner Lucy Diakovska completely chaotic
From this first sound breakdown, the interview with jungle camp winner Lucy Diakovska seems to sink into chaos.
Because suddenly everyone is talking at once, the moderators are having a separate conversation and the penetrating crackling can still be heard in the background.
“Riverboat” presenter Wolfgang Lippert has to mediate and is back in control of the situation.
But when he wants to ask the jungle camp winner the next question, the tone thwarts his plans again.
Now you can hear a high-pitched whistle.
This time, however, only for a few seconds.
Fortunately, there were no more incidents after that.

Speaking of which: For the jungle camp victory, Lucy Diakovska not only gets the title and the pretty crown, but also a proud prize money of 100,000 euros.
Lucy Diakovska already knows exactly what she wants to do with the jungle camp prize money.
