Eintracht Frankfurt has further extended its lead to seventh place in the Bundesliga.
The sixth-place team won against direct rivals TSG 1899 Hoffenheim 3-1 (1-1) on Sunday and is now seven points ahead of the North Baden team.
Robin Koch (32nd minute), Eric Junior Dina Ebimbe (50th) and Mario Götze (64th) scored the Eintracht goals in front of 57,000 spectators.
Frankfurt/Main - Hoffenheim took the lead through John Anthony Brooks (6th), the defender saw the red card shortly afterwards (22nd/emergency brake).
In the 78th minute, central defender Ozan Kabak was also sent off after repeated foul play.
