For Gilbert, Philippe Ferrières' father, it's a cold shower.
“It’s inconsistent.
Justice recognizes things and then it no longer recognizes them,” asks this 71-year-old man, who is speaking for the first time on this painful issue.
“I have nothing against the police, but I have the impression that the police benefit from more impunity than ordinary mortals.
This dismissal is like nothing had happened for my son,” he laments this Sunday.
On May 24, 2019, Philippe, 36, his only son, died after being strangled.
During an eventful arrest, one of the three police officers from the Drancy police station responding grabbed him by the neck to control him.
The 30-year-old lost consciousness and died shortly after.
