Bayer Leverkusen continues to strive towards the championship in the Bundesliga.
The league leaders won 2-0 (1-0) against VfL Wolfsburg on Sunday and thus maintained their ten-point lead over pursuers Bayern Munich.
Nathan Tella (36th minute) and national player Florian Wirtz (86th) scored in front of 29,314 spectators to secure a home win that was never in danger, Wolfsburg's Moritz Jenz looked in the 28th minute.
