A 25-year-old was heavily intoxicated and drove into a checkpoint in Upper Franconia on the night of Sunday, March 10th.
When the police take a closer look, it becomes clear that the man is no stranger.

During the check: Police officers notice a clear hint of alcohol
The police clearly noticed the alcohol flag during the check in Helmbrechts (Hof district), a police spokesman said.
During a subsequent breath alcohol test, the officers were astonished when they saw the value: the young man had a blood alcohol level of more than 4 per mille.
As the officers later discovered, this was not his first offense.

Not the first time: I drove drunk in February
In mid-February, police confiscated the man's driver's license after he rammed a parked car with his car - also heavily intoxicated, with an alcohol level of 3 per mille at the time.
The 25-year-old now has to answer not only for drunk driving again, but also for driving without a license.
He was also taken to a hospital to have a blood sample taken.
There was initially no result available.
