I know that these paragraphs may contain sentimentality and vulgarities.

I cannot abstain because I read, I speak, I listen.

And it is by virtue of these rights and so many others that I dare to write this letter.

This

poverty of the Argentine people

- and I am not referring to that of the indigent - which clearly speaks of a decadence unthinkable in another time, worries me and at the same time arouses great curiosity in me.

I perceive that there exists in society

an apathy entrenched in a “letting go, letting go” that only portends darkness

.

I am afraid to include in this reflection terms such as inertia, scarcity of high values, genuflection.

Nor think about resignation as a way out to face the national reality.

Arms down imply surrender.

Acts and content of very poor substantial and intellectual value are thrown into the air with regularity and in a natural manner

.

Cheerful spokespersons, social networks and cheap leaders will now be in charge of disguising flaws and guiding versions.

The deplorable thing is that in this tidal wave we are all included: voters, politicians, leaders, communicators... Pride, lack of education, excessive ambition and "chantocracy" do not allow the advancement of any improvement.

Believing and accepting that nothing can be done flattens thought, eliminates ideas;

It crumbles illusions and makes projects disappear.

Mediocrity sits on a strong throne

.

Upright and provocative, it only needs the entry of new followers to confirm its intention to stay forever.

That is why there is no progress or alternative therapies.

Dark tunnels have formed instead of windows to the sun.

The prosperous Argentina, envied, continues in its rebirth,

it no longer exists.

Studying and working to get ahead are seen as

remote possibilities.

And we all participate in this existential failure.

Having forever demolished the wise saying “Zapatero a tus pies”, which did not indicate anything else such as “everyone does his own thing but well”, our leaders lack a primary concept: the

common good.

Sustaining a people through the construction of a solid common good anticipates

incomparable social satisfactions

.

But getting used to this situation of lack in the face of shared need causes society to accompany the free fall of the country with apathy, indifference, complicity or submission.

And once again, far from believing in panaceas that rely only on words, there is a sad appeal to interrupt Discepolín's rest, adding as part of an inclusive language the lapidary phrase:

"He who does not strive is a fool."

Painful to perceive meekness or habituation in the face of this reality.

Believe reliably that

the die is cast and that nothing can change it.

As a member of this society I refuse to bear with docility.

I believe that there are possibilities to think that those who aspire to occupy positions in the direction of the country's destinies think about the

recovery of the dignity of the people.

It is only enough to incorporate decency, training, social empathy, among other values closely related to efficiency, into the habitual performance of duties.

That health, education, public works, among many other pillars that make up a society, are taken into account for the common good.

In no way can indiscriminate manipulation set the course.

May the Argentine people recover their moral health through the knowledge and use of their rights through education, coexistence based on respect and a resounding yes to decency.

THE EDITOR'S COMMENT

By César Dossi

Rebuild what no longer exists

The reader Cardoso talks about the reconstruction of a country, but not from the shovel or from one of lime and another of sand.

Rather, his projection focuses on the political existential failure of which society is a shareholder.

It is sad to sit down and describe a disappointment when one had so much expectation,

because the leaden words accompany the tired typing that tells a story that we reread exhausted, again and again, again and again.

Like an eternal echo.

We flagellate ourselves with the disappointments of the different administrations, longing, while a whirlpool mixes anger and anguish, to see a sign that illuminates Argentina.

We flagellate ourselves with the disappointments of the different administrations, longing, while a whirlpool mixes anger and anguish, to see a sign that illuminates Argentina.

In his vision for

“the lack of dignity of the people,”

Cardoso transfers to honest politicians, those who are or those who will come, the convoluted task of

renewing the romance

and making them recover those values, stained and stained by a government that looted to the country.

And that he also appropriated ideology, the most valued resource of a society.

That same thought that,

like a great blackout of healthy controversy,

still makes splinters when talking about the conception of the common good.

Have they already stopped stealing for two years, as Luis Barrionuevo said?

And so we arrive at today, trying in some way, adopting some and discarding others, to

rebuild that which no longer coexists

, but in this great project the unwavering support of politicians who identify with the

sorrows of society is urgently needed.

The thing is that the people need rewards, also economic, but above all that the Government makes them reverberate on the other side of the street with

worthy incentives

to escort those who guide the country with compliance.

Or perhaps we are only left with what the Roman philosopher Cicero said:

“Let us hope for what we desire, but endure what happens

. ”

But there is no time to see what happens nor strength to endure the present

, not even a worse one.
