An incredible story: The wedding of a pop icon was interrupted for Hansi Hinterseer's breakthrough.
He revealed this to Andy Borg at “Schlager-Fuß”.
Offenburg – Last Saturday (March 9, 2024) it was finally that time again.
“Schlager-Fun with Andy Borg” flickered across the TV sets at home again – and the name once again said it all.
This time a very special anniversary was celebrated.
Hansi Hinterseer (70) not only recently celebrated his 70th birthday, but also his 30th stage anniversary.
He reveals that none other than successful producer Jack White (83) interrupted his own wedding for him.

After Hansi Hinterseer ended his sporting career, he was discovered as a singer by music producer Jack White in 1993.
“When Jack White said back then that he was making a long-playing record with me, I thought to myself: Yes, okay.
“Let’s try it,” he remembers during “Schlager-Fun.”
That doesn't sound like much enthusiasm at first.
But Jack White saw something in Hansi Hinterseer back then and wanted to make him a pop star straight away.
The hit producer even interrupted his own wedding for this.
“You have to imagine that.
Registry office, signed.
My wife was maid of honor for his wife.
Then after signing he says: Hansi, come.
Get in the car, we’ll drive to the studio,” says Hinterseer, still stunned today.

Most recently, SWR had to spontaneously postpone the “Schlager-Fun with Andy Borg” – a measure that the broadcaster is not ruling out in the future.
Because television viewers should primarily benefit from this.
30 years later: Hans Hinterseer is still stunned by Jack White's behavior
"What?
You have a wedding.
“Are you not feeling well?” Hansi Hinterseer asked him, stunned.
But Jack White was not deterred.
So he and Hansi Hinterseer drove to the studio.
That took an hour.
“Then we went back and celebrated the wedding,” laughs the pop star and shakes his head in disbelief.
But Jack White had the right nose.
To this day, Hansi Hinterseer is a successful pop singer, with several platinum and gold awards.
