Full house and a satirical, drinkable evening: The Ismaninger Strong Beer Festival offered the best entertainment in the packed Bürgersaal - only a few main characters were missing.

Ismaning

– The Ismaninger Nockherberg has delivered.

Like its big brother in Munich, the Singspiel for the Strong Beer Festival focused on local political events.

The actors sent the local council on an educational trip “Beyond Ismaning” – to be precise: Namibia.

The running gag is the dispute between the priest and the mayor

The tour guide Mr. Buschneger (Vice District Councilor Bußjäger, played by Hans Dullinger) cavorted on stage with the Ismaninger Dr.

Durscht (Mayor Greulich, Sebastian Kübelsbeck), Seebach-Rudi (local councilor Essigkrug, Konrad Schraufnagl), Black Friday (Czech auxiliary bus driver, Herbert Baur), Don Camillo (Pastor Dr. Brunner, Hans Christthaller) and Cordula Grün (Green Party councilor Risinger, Kerstin Zacherl).

The running gag in the play was a dispute between the mayor and the priest, who both consider themselves to be the most important person in the town.

Member of the state parliament also gets his fat

The spiritual leader of the community received his many absences on his bread like invitations to lunch at the Neuwirt.

Mayor Greulich got his name “Dr.

Durscht” because he is the top advertising medium at the head of the Ismaning brewery cooperative.

Cordula Grün, who gave the final song its name, represented Green Party councilor Christina Risinger, who wants to dissuade the local council from consuming roast pork with organic specialties (“The organic insect salad was specially flown in by a fairy from the lower village”).

The Green faction, which was not given much of a voice in the Ismaning local council, was targeted with her person.

But their own people also got their fill at the strong beer festival organized by the Free Voters' Community (FWG).

There was an unmistakable swipe at the state election campaign of Nikolaus Kraus, called “Krausn-Nik”: “You don’t hear him, you don’t see him.”

Full house: All seats in the Citizens' Hall are occupied, unfortunately only Mayor Greulich of the Derbleckten is there.

Alexander Greulich toasts with his double

A good tradition in Singspiel is that there is always a surprise on stage, a person that no one expected.

This time it was “Black Friday”, the Czech temporary bus driver from the Vogel company.

He revealed company secrets (“Our bird buses were refurbished by Catholic women”) and repeatedly provided situational comedy with his dialect and facial expressions in the person of Herbert Baur.

The Singspiel was the highlight of the evening in the Bürgersaal, which was once again sold out to the last seat.

The audience appreciated the actors' ideas.

The only surprising thing was that of the people portrayed, only one original was able to toast his actor.

Mayor Alexander Greulich and his counterpart Sebastian Kübelsbeck also looked very similar.
