Despite the 2:2 (2:1) draw in the Isartal derby against SV Pullach, TSV Grünwald is the big winner of the matchday in the Southeast Regional League.

Grünwald/Pullach

– Even though TSV Grünwald had to be content with a 2:2 (2:1) against SV Pullach, the state league leaders were still the big winners of the match day, because their pursuers TSV Wasserburg (0:1 in Rosenheim) and FC Spfr. Schwaig (0:4 in Kastl) again dropped points.

The Green-Whites are now nine points ahead of second-placed Wasserburg and twelve ahead of the new third-placed VfB Forstinning.

The Pullachers, for their part, confirmed their upward trend with the well-deserved draw in a derby that was hotly contested for 90 minutes but was only good at the beginning.

The home team had to cope with an important short-term loss: 18-year-old Alessandro Palladino stood between the posts for regular goalkeeper Lukas Brandl, who was missing due to back problems.

The winter newcomer wasn't to blame for the early 0-1 deficit; the people in front of him were simply too disorganized when Maximilian Stapf, unchallenged, extended his left foot into the far corner at five (5').

The Ravens earned this lead through a brisk opening phase.

Zettl's direct shot from a good position after a nice attack and cross from Josef Burghard was too harmless to seriously embarrass Palladino (12th).

The first goalkeeping mistake of the game happened on the other side: Leopold Bayerschmidt, who was Brandl's representative with the Green-Whites until the winter, had actually already started a flat long ball, but missed it again and Niklas Kern was able to put the ball into the empty goal run (17th).

And the Grünwalders immediately followed up: After winning the ball in midfield, Alexander Rojek passed it across to Jasmin Kadiric, who gave Bayerschmidt no chance (19th).

At first it remained very exciting: Kadiric narrowly missed the angle after a corner (22nd), then Palladino also made a mistake, David Wörns didn't hit the ball correctly when trying to clear it, but Gilbert Diep's shot from a tight angle and Zettl's follow-up shot was out Short distances were blocked by TSV defenders on the line (26th).

Then things calmed down.

It was only shortly before the half-time whistle that Palladino was tested by a low long-range shot from Nasrullah Mirza (43').

The Pullach team also got off to a lightning start in the second half: After a Grünwalder passing error, the ball came via Stapf and Gilbert Diep to Kevin Nsimba, who coolly lofted it into the net (52nd).

Afterwards, both teams tried with a lot of passion and commitment to score the winning goal, the Pullachers seemed more active, the Grünwalders were waiting for moments of transition.

But on the bumpy pitch, both sides lacked a great playful line and also the great opportunity for the lucky punch.
