A month ago, when the impact of the economic adjustment was already felt strongly in the pockets,
Clarín
warned about the political consequences of the cuts.
With a strong fact: the image of President Javier Milei had fallen in the 24 provinces of the country.
The same measurement, in March, continues the trend and
sounds the alarm again
in Casa Rosada.
The study carried out by
Clarín
this Sunday is from
CB Consultora Opinión Pública
, a firm specialized in federal surveys.
The balance is slightly better for the libertarian: compared to February, it shows decreases in 19 districts and increases in 5.
The survey by the pollster led by analyst
Cristian Buttié
included between
620 and 1,256 online interviews in each province
, between the 1st and 4th of this month.
The results were presented with a margin of error of 3% to 4%.
Consolation for the President: despite this new general decline, he remains one of the politicians with the best image in the country. Example? He maintains more support than rejection in 18 of the 24 provinces.
The
5 districts in which
the presidential image improved were La Rioja, Tucumán, Corrientes, Entre Ríos and Formosa.
While the
6 in which it has a differential image against
are Santiago del Estero, Formosa, Chaco, Río Negro, Buenos Aires and Tierra del Fuego.
The loss of Milei in the Interior also occurs in a particular context
: the President has been having a tough fight with the governors, with measures that affect its inhabitants, such as the removal of transportation subsidies.
It is worth remembering that the libertarian's
electoral fortress
to reach La Rosada was built, precisely,
outside the AMBA
.
That is to say, at one point Milei is affecting its main political capital.
The 8 best
In this complex context for the President, very good numbers continue to be seen in some provinces.
In two very anti-K districts like
Córdoba and Mendoza
, for example,
it exceeds 60 positive points
.
And in
five others
(La Rioja, San Luis, Tucumán, Neuquén and Salta),
it exceeds 55%
.
The eighth that completes the best of the table for the libertarian is Catamarca, with + 54.5% rating in favor.
But also, as explained, here it suffered a majority of falls compared to the previous month.
With these numbers:
Mendoza
: 63.5% positive,
down 4.3 points compared to February
.
Córdoba
: +62.9%,
down 3.2
.
La Rioja
: +58.4%,
up 0.5
.
San Luis
: +57.5%,
down 1.5
.
Tucumán
: + 56.2%,
up 2
.
Neuquén
: + 56.1%,
down 2.6
.
Salta
: +56%,
down 2.8
.
Catamarca
: + 54.5%,
down 1.4
.
The 8 worst
At the other end of the table, logically,
are the 6 provinces
already mentioned in which Milei has
an image balance against.
The
two exceptions
to this batch are
Santa Fe and Chubut
.
Although in both cases it fell compared to the previous month, they continue to be part of the group where the President maintains a positive differential.
As a common element, in the 8 Milei it has less than 50 image points in its favor.
And here is also the province in which it fell the most, Chaco, where its positive was reduced by 5 points.
Santa Fe
: 49% positive image,
down 1 point
.
Chubut
: + 48.7%,
down 2.6 points
.
Tierra del Fuego
: +48.1%,
down 2.8 points
.
Buenos Aires
: + 46.5%,
down 2.1 points
.
Río Negro
: + 46.2% and
down 1 point
.
Chaco
: + 46.1%,
down 5 points
.
Formosa
: + 43.3%,
up 1.6 point
.
Santiago del Estero
: + 40.1%,
down 1.8 point
.
8 in the middle
In the center of the ranking were 8 districts in which Milei maintains a very good image, exceeding 50 positive points and a favorable balance.
But, as in the rest of the country, here she also suffered more downs than ups.
Corrientes
: 53.7% positive image,
up 0.4 point
.
Misiones
: + 53.7%,
down 3.7 points
.
Jujuy
: + 52.5%,
down 4.6 points
.
La Pampa
: + 52.1%,
down 3 points
.
San Juan
: + 52%,
down 1.1 point
.
Entre Ríos
: + 51.6%,
up 1.1 point
.
Santa Cruz
: + 51.4%,
down 0.7 point
.
CABA
: + 50.1%,
down 4.4 points
.
