Highlights: Alisha Khalid, 14, was thrown into the Seine on March 8, 2021. Her mother, Jenny, is now involved in the prevention of harassment. The family went to the still-flowered grave of the schoolgirl on Friday March 8. “I lost my daughter three years ago. It was my whole life. You wake up in the morning and you don't want to believe that your child won't come home,” says Jenny Khalid, Alisha's mother.

Jenny meditates with her loved ones on the bank of the Seine, where three years earlier, to the day, her daughter Alisha had been hit and thrown into the river by two teenagers, there also where the family kept the happy memory of bike rides with her.

Friday March 8, the family then went to the still-flowered grave of the 14-year-old schoolgirl, murdered on March 8, 2021.

“Alisha was born here, grew up here, in Argenteuil.

I wanted her to stay here…” confides Jenny, her mother.

“I lost my daughter three years ago.

It was my whole life.

You wake up in the morning and you don't want to believe that your child won't come home.

I only really understood that she was dead when I saw her, when I identified her.
