After the murder of Luise from Freudenberg: the father of the alleged perpetrator speaks out

“We miss you today as much as the day you died.

We just miss you.

Our house – so quiet.

Your place – forever empty.

“Luise’s brutal death led to unspeakable pain” – can be read in the obituary from Luise’s family.

Almost nine months have passed since then.

The victim and the two alleged perpetrators knew each other.

The public will probably never know the exact motive or the course of events.

The public prosecutor's office closed the investigation.

Bullying via TikTok is said to have played a role in the killing of twelve-year-old Luise in Freudenberg.

The network is a quasi-lawless space for children, says expert Silke Müller.

Luise murder case sparks debate about violence against minors

The two students were still children themselves, as criminal psychologist Rudolf Egg emphasized shortly after Luise's violent death.

Due to their age, they are considered to be of legal age under criminal law.

After the death of Luise (12): Suspected perpetrators too young for punishment

After the violent crime, the girls are in the care of the youth welfare office.

The fate of the two was initially unclear.

“The suspected girls are still in therapeutic facilities,” a spokeswoman for the Siegen-Wittgenstein district told the dpa news agency in July 2023.

The girls therefore receive school lessons, but do not currently go to a regular school.

The 13-year-old's father has now commented for the first time.

As

reports, the family apparently wants to leave Germany and move to Brazil, their mother's homeland.

However, the family would have to obtain custody of their child.

According to the tabloid, the girl left the therapeutic facility in November and is living in a group home.

She still has to take medication and cries all day, her father said.

He therefore rejects allegations that his daughter planned the crime together with her friend.

“In the weeks beforehand at school she had dealt with the topic of criminal immaturity,” the father told

.

That's why the children found out about it, not because they were planning a murder.

At the time, however, the police did not want to confirm whether the girls were actually informed about criminal consequences.

The investigative authorities also kept a low profile on other details.
