Building on the success of “Ink Master”, RMC Story has decided to devote its first original creation in prime time access to tattooing.
Starting this Monday and for six weeks, the show will elect
“The Best Tattoo Artist”
.
Every Monday, the competition will welcome four new professional artists who will compete in three challenges.
At the end of the two technical (one line, family ties, mythology, humor, animals, etc.) and creative challenges, one of the four candidates will be eliminated and will not be able to access the final free expression test.

To decide between them, the chain recruited three renowned tattoo artists.
Dimitri HK
has been tattooing since he was 18.
Today, he is one of the most recognized tattoo artists in the profession, particularly thanks to his New School style.
He worked for a time with
Mikaël de Poissy
.
The latter discovered the world of tattooing in the early 90s and is known worldwide for his unique stained glass style of which he was the precursor.
For around thirty years, he has specialized in the history of tattooing and is also the publishing director of
Tatouage Magazine
.
The only woman on the jury,
Kalie
is a great specialist in color realism.
Revealed in “Dancing with the Stars” on TF1,
Denitsa Ikonomova
was forced to step away from the dance floor due to a ruptured cruciate ligament that occurred in October 2022. Since then, the Bulgarian-Canadian dancer has appeared in different programs.
Thus, she won season 3 of “Mask Singer” in the butterfly costume.
In August 2023, she took part in “La Photo parfait” on M6.
It was therefore with undisguised pleasure that she accepted the offer made by RMC Story to host “Le Meilleur Tatoueur”.
“I say yes to a lot of projects because I am curious by nature and I love challenges and challenges
,” confides the one who is not (yet) tattooed.
For her first experience as a host, Denitsa Ikonomova will, in particular, be the link between the tattoo artists and the jury.
“The Best Tattoo Artist” will be punctuated with historical and explanatory pastilles around the world of tattooing.
If the audiences are there, the show could be entitled to a “grand finale” between the six winners and a season 2.
