Lindsey, a trainer who has amassed over 57,000 likes on her TikTok (@girl_meets_bro) videos thanks to her and husband Cade's somewhat troubled relationship, told how they started seeing each other when they were just 14 years old - and not related.
Like all teenagers in love they became obsessed with each other and Cade would sneak into her house late at night without her mother knowing.
After many months the two were caught red-handed by Lindsey's mother who forbade them to see each other again.
It didn't help her and they managed to connect through social media and had an under-the-radar relationship.
When Lindsay's mother found out about this, she went to confront Cade's father to do something to stop his son, only then the thing happened that both parents did not expect: they fell in love.

So yes, before you judge - step-siblings Lindsay and Cade fell in love long before they became step-siblings.
It was only because of their love story that their parents also fell in love with each other and eventually got married, making them officially brother and sister.
Since Lindsay was no longer sure what she wanted to do in life, she joined the Air Force, moved to Texas, and left Cade behind.

Lindsey and Cade ended up getting married in 2014 - and a few years later Lindsey's mother and mother-in-law got married as well.
