Robert and Carmen Geiss have been together for over 40 years and married for almost 30 years.
But in all these years Robert never wore a wedding ring - what's behind it?
When the battle cry “Rooooobert” sounds again on RTLZWEI, it can only mean one thing: The Geissens are back!
Carmen and Robert Geiss in particular have been delighting the masses with their cheeky sayings and their special love relationship for more than a decade.
The two have been happily married for almost 30 years and are still in love like they were on the first day.
But why does Robert Geiss never wear a wedding ring?

In the new episodes of “The Geissens – A Terribly Glamorous Family,” Robert Geiss & Co. KG is once again happily traveling through world history.
For example, the Geissens fly to the Maldives, where Shania and Davina really fight each other.
On the other hand, things are much more harmonious in Ibiza.
Carmen Geiss and her daughters want to pursue their favorite activity there again: shopping!
But for once, “the man” Robert is the first to find what he is looking for in a jewelry store and decides on a chic silver ring.
Carmen is not happy: “I've never seen him with a ring in 41 years.
“He doesn’t even have a wedding ring,” she explains.

The Geissens gave the answer to this in a podcast from 2023. In fact, Robert's missing wedding ring is a token of love for his Carmen.
“We had to save money somewhere.
She really wanted to have two hearts, two diamond hearts.
Then she gets the double hearts and I forego the ring,” says “the man”.
“The hearts were big, we didn’t have any money left to buy him another ring,” confirmed Carmen
.
It's hard to imagine, but the millionaire couple wasn't always so wealthy.
In fact, the Geissens earned their wealth themselves.

When are the Geissens on TV?
If the 60-year-old has his way, his ring from Ibiza will now count as a wedding ring.
“I have a wedding ring now!
Can you buy me a wedding ring?” he asks his wife, laughing.
She rolls her eyes in annoyance, but does him the favor.
339 euros later, the piece of jewelry finally belongs to Robert and he is beaming from ear to ear.
There was far less laughter when the Geissens were out with Robert's mother Margret.
This was recently seen in a new episode of “The Geissens – A Terribly Glamorous Family” on RTLZWEI.
The new season is currently running there in double episodes every Monday evening at 8:15 p.m.
