found out in an interview with the 65-year-old, Peter Kloeppel is planning to leave “RTL Aktuell” in just a few months.
“My last broadcast will be at the end of August,” the magazine quotes the chief presenter, who will soon be leaving the service.
There is also another change coming to the 20-minute news program: Ulrike von der Groeben, who has moderated the sport since 1989, is also leaving the format, to which several million people tune in every day.
Many television viewers will have to make do with a new moderation duo from summer onwards.
