Shai Kenan's victory speech in Holon/election headquarters
The local authority elections are behind us, but there is no doubt that the race for mayor of Holon will be well remembered.
Shai Keenan won the battle for mayor with a majority of 43% against much lower results for his opponents, including the incumbent mayor Motti Sasson, who finished a 30-year term as mayor of the municipality.
Shai Keinan's campaign was managed last year by the strategic consultant Haim Greidinger, who has gained a significant reputation in the field of crisis management and campaigns, and his office has signed a series of high-profile public campaigns in the last decade, including the campaign of Amit Bacher for the presidency of the Bar Association and the management of the media strategy for Eyal Golan in collaboration with editor Judge Tal Gabai, until the investigation file in his case was closed a few months ago.
Greidinger, 36, heads the firm that deals with crisis management, media consulting, social media presence management and government relations.
He began his career as a journalist in the local media in Ashdod and then as a religious affairs reporter in the "Maariv" newspaper.
In the past, he managed the digital setup of former Defense Minister Bogi Ya'alon and served as the communications advisor to Transport Minister Miri Regev.
He worked as a team manager in two "Blue and White" campaign systems, led the Ministry of Health's information system for the ultra-Orthodox sector during the Corona period and municipal campaigns.
As mentioned, in the last year he managed the election campaign of Amit Bachar for the presidency of the bar association and the media strategy of the singer Eyal Golan until the closing of the investigation file in his case.

In a conversation with Walla, he talks about the long campaign that lasted over a year and explains that the professional team was clear from the beginning that the city of Holon was ripe for a transformation.
"The public knows Holon as a city where Moti Sasson dominates without question, but it was clear to us from the first day that we were on our way to seeing Shai Keinan replace him in the position. Our in-depth research taught us about very high rates of dissatisfaction, which would lead me to unequivocally recommend to all An incumbent mayor does not want to run in the elections. These are gaps that are difficult to impossible to close only with a good campaign. On the other hand, the appreciation for Shai Keenan has been maintained at high rates throughout the last term in a continuous and stable manner."
There were other candidates who claimed the mayor's crown in Holon, what did you do differently in this campaign that brought you the victory?
"The first thing is our candidate. Shai Keinan is a charismatic person with the ability to capture around him many people from different sectors. In addition and unlike others in the political system in Holon, he persevered and prepared himself for ten years for the position and this may be an important tip for the contestants who came in second place in these elections. The public appreciates Perseverance and commitment and I don't like people who get up and resign when they didn't get exactly the position they wanted. The second thing is the professional focus of the campaign. It's no secret that there was a substantial attempt by one of the candidates' campaign to drag Holon into issues of religion and state. The candidate who did this was supported by Benny Gantz and indeed As someone who appreciates Benny Gantz, I did not understand how in Holon he allowed a candidate on his behalf to conduct a false intimidation campaign against us. We focused on my profession and presented Shai Keinan's vision and plans for Holon. The last thing, was the investment in the campaign. We received the backing to go on a very invested campaign without compromises, If it's at the level of the products, their content, the delivery, in everything we worked only with the best. In the end, the message that permeated the public was that Shai Kenan both knows where he came from and where he's going."
There were many favorite candidates in other cities that the war weakened and actually strengthened the incumbent mayors, how did you conduct yourself during this period?
"The war was very challenging in several respects, but Shai Keinan 3 things happened that, in my view, made us very strong in this campaign. The first thing, a correct decision by Shai Keinan to stop the campaign and move immediately to help the war effort, I think the public appreciated this step. It was at such a level that the election signs were converted into a campaign for the abductees and a volunteer headquarters. The second thing, all the things we talked about during the campaign, regarding security and education, proved their necessity under the circumstances and put in a negative light all the politicians who at the time opposed the programs that Kenan tried to promote in the council when he was in the opposition, such as mounted security patrols and protecting institutions Education. The last thing, the war intensified the feeling of disgust with negative politics and caused the attempt to create a campaign of division and intimidation against Shay Keenan to come back as a boomerang. These are the main things that I think strengthened us and weakened the political opponents."
