One hundred jewels for one hundred years of history: the Damiani maison celebrates its first century at the Gallerie di Italia in Milan, showcasing - from 19 March to 28 April - its heritage of mastery and creativity all made in Italy.
Displayed as works of art, in the exhibition curated by the jewelery design teacher of the Milan Polytechnic Alba Cappellieri, the unique and artisanal creations, handmade by the master goldsmiths of Valenza, where the Maison was born a century ago.
Since then, three generations have followed, from the founder Enrico who, thanks to his skills as a master goldsmith, became a point of reference for the world of traditional jewelery and for the most high-ranking noble families, who relied on him for the creation of their precious more exclusive, to his son Damiano, who understood the need to renew tradition by opening up to new trends and conquering an increasingly international audience.
The baton then passed into the hands of Damiano's three children - Guido, Silvia and Giorgio - tasked with interpreting the Damiani story, as in the exhibition created for the centenary.
