For the first time since the start of Russian aggression in Ukraine, Emmanuel Macron has requested a debate with a vote in the National Assembly and the Senate this afternoon and tomorrow on the French aid strategy for Kiev.
An approach which comes after the signing between the French president and Volodymyr Zelensky of a cooperation agreement concluded on February 16 with kyiv.
If the final vote will be mainly symbolic, this debate, which promises to be heated, aims to force the oppositions to distance themselves from Moscow.
The RN has already announced that it will not decide, as for LFI, the Insoumis deputies will vote against.
