The Schlierachtaler Stamm traditional costume association looked back on an eventful year at its main meeting and honored deserving members.

Hausham

– The traditional costumers from the Schlierachtaler Stamm Hausham have had a club year with many great events.

Plattler performances, theater performances and even a trip by activists to the USA were included.

At the general meeting, the Trachtlers looked back and also used the evening to give honours.

Highlights of the year: Gaufest in USA

In addition to the members, chairman Johann Walleitner also welcomed district chairman Schorsch Engelhart and district chairman Hans Schwaiger to the Trachtenheim.

Secretary Sabrina Winklmaier reviewed the past year.

Highlights were the trip of ten active Plattlers to the Gaufest in Cleveland in Ohio (we reported), the Gaufest in Elbach and the club trip to the Weltenburg Monastery.

Participation in putting up the maypole, Corpus Christi and the Leonhardi trips in Hundham and Fischhausen were traditionally part of the program.

The traditional costumers also took part in the carnival in Hausham and Miesbach this year.

Topic: the Hausham Folk Festival 2023 (which did not take place).

The theater group's performances were successful.

Game leader Franziska Tittert thanked the helpers who stepped in energetically and sometimes very spontaneously.

“We had to struggle with a few cases of illness during this theater, but the collaboration was just great, everyone stepped in when they could.” Tittert is already looking for a new piece with prompter Lydia Kriebl.

Two maypoles set up

The club is in a good financial position, explained treasurer Gerhard Niedermeier, and auditor Rudi Brumme confirmed “exemplary financial management”.

Both Vorplattler Stefan Gasteiger and youth leaders Tanja Leidgschwendner and Leonhard Röpfl reported a full program.

The young plattlers set up a small maypole in the Sonnenschein kindergarten and showed off their traditional costume skills at the HaSi Festival in Hausham and at the Schlierachtaler Theater.

In addition to the members, Walleitner's thanks went especially to the local associations such as BRK, Bergwacht and Crachia for their support with the Maypole guard.

Walleitner and Engelhart finally used the evening to honor members who have not only been loyal to the club over many years, but who have also made special contributions to it.

Honoring long-time members

Marion Walleitner has been a Gwandwartin since 2003.

Lydia Kriebl and Gerhard Niedermeier have also been involved for two decades.

Leonhard Röpfl has been working in various functions for 30 years.

Chairman Walleitner has also been on the board for 30 years.

He started as a pre-plattler, “worked his way up” to chairman and was also a host in the clubhouse, recalled Engelhart.

The two auditors Walter Obermeier and Rudi Brumme have already been in office for 40 years.
