He was driving drunk and killed a cyclist: he had more alcohol in his blood than the pipette could indicate

It happened in the Los Tilos neighborhood, in Pilar. The victim was 42 years old. The driver dragged the cyclist about 30 meters and hit the wall of a house.

According to the Pilar a Diario site, at the junction of Las Secuoyas and Carlos Calvo streets, a

Volkswagen Suran

hit him at high speed.

The car that caused the accident was driven by another Paraguayan citizen:

Jorge Adalberto BG,

who, far from braking after the attack, continued driving until he hit a wall and fell into a well.

"He never realized that the victim, a resident of the Villa Magdalena neighborhood,

had been stuck

in the front of the vehicle," certified a police source.

A SAME ambulance that was present where the accident occurred confirmed the

instant death

of the cyclist at the scene.

He was much more than drunk,” an investigative source confirmed to the local media.

The driver was detained and transferred to the La Lonja Detachment.

And he was investigated on Sunday morning by prosecutor Gonzalo Agüero, from UFI No. 4 of Pilar.

However, the accused man did not make any statements.
