The IDF attacked military buildings and terrorist infrastructure of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in southern Lebanon/IDF Spokesman
The attack in Baalbak last night (Monday) was within 100 kilometers of the Israeli border, and included damage to a significant Hezbollah infrastructure - according to a security source.
Wow!
It was learned that the attack was aimed at the compound of the air unit in Hezbollah, and included the destruction of unmanned aircraft.
It was intended to show the IDF's control and knowledge of the terrorist organization's secret targets, and to deter it from using them. In addition, the elite infrastructure - which includes special warehouses - was also destroyed. After the attack,
the IDF announced that it had attacked two Hezbollah compounds in the Bekaa region deep in the country.
"The compounds are associated with the Hezbollah air force that planned and executed various targets towards the territory of the State of Israel," it said.
It also states, "The attacks were carried out in response to the operation of Hezbollah aircraft towards the Golan Heights during the past few days."
