After being unable to reach an agreement at the negotiating table, Lufthansa flight attendants went on strike - with massive repercussions for Munich Airport.

Munich - After the ground staff, Lufthansa's flight attendants are now also on strike.

And that has a massive impact on air traffic in Bavaria: on Wednesday, March 13th, almost nothing will work at Munich Airport.

All departures are to be on strike between 4 a.m. and 11 p.m.

According to Lufthansa, 400 flights and around 50,000 passengers are affected.

Their demands: 15 percent more wages for a term of the collective agreement of 18 months.
