This is a comparatively small building request.

In the Wiessee building committee, a craftsman's application caused a lot of controversy.

There was also harsh criticism of the district office.

Bad Wiessee

– “This is like a situation,” said Florian Sareiter (CSU) angrily.

“It couldn't be more old-fashioned,” said building authority manager Anton Bammer.

The anger in the Wiessee building committee was great when it came once again to the warehouse of a craft business at the residential and commercial building on the corner of Bundesstrasse and Ringbergstrasse.

The anger was not only sparked by the current situation and an existing building application from the craftsmen for a permanent storage building, which the committee had already rejected several times in its current form.

It was also sparked by a letter from the district office, which announced that it would grant permission for the cultivation and, if necessary, replace the municipal agreement.

The building committee had already rejected “backpack-like” extensions several times

In order to store his material, the applicant would like to build a ground-floor extension on the west side of the main building, i.e. facing the main road.

The lean-to roof should be placed directly under the existing balcony.

The building committee had criticized this in the past as an extension like a “backpack”, and had already rejected the warehouse in this form twice and asked for a more pleasant solution.

The committee had stated that it favored a free-standing building on the spacious property.

The members even attended an on-site meeting with the client.

Despite the on-site appointment and discussions, Wiesseer is sticking with his application

The fact that, contrary to the impression on site, this appointment apparently did not work and that the craftsman stuck with the “backpack” variant afterwards prompted the local councilors to make clear statements.

“I feel a bit ripped off,” said Florian Sareiter.

The committee carried out a site visit especially for this small property and got the impression that the builder had been understanding - and now this.

Bernd Kuntze-Fechner (SPD) was also stunned.

“I thought I was going to be kicked by a horse,” he said, describing his state of mind when he saw that the old proposal had remained the same.

He once again called for a “very clear rejection” of cultivation.

Because of the replacement of the agreement: A lawsuit by the municipality is already underway

The criticism of the district office was also drastic.

Kurt Sareiter (CSU) speculated that the employees there might not even know “where Bad Wiessee is.”

After the authority had repeatedly announced that it would replace the community agreement in a Wiessee construction matter, the committee called for the topic to be discussed in principle with the representatives of the district authority.

Benedikt Dörder (SPD) even advocated taking legal action.

“We have to take a chance sometimes,” he said.

It wouldn't be the first case.

Only recently did the local council decide to file a lawsuit because the district office had replaced the community agreement on a planned new building on Luckenkopfstrasse.

There is currently a bad atmosphere between the municipality and the district office.

CSU local council: “Losing the desire to sit in here”

Georg Erlacher (CSU) summed up the emotional state of most local councilors.

Given the increasing number of cases in which the district office overrules the municipality, “I'm losing interest in getting involved here.

“I’d rather lie down on the sofa, that’s great,” he said.

Johannes von Miller (Greens) also found it important to talk to the district office - “otherwise I will request that the building committee be dissolved,” he said.

Such a discussion with the district authority should take place as soon as possible.

Regardless, the committee once again unanimously rejected the desired extension.

The committee also called on the district office to take action against the condition of the temporary camp, as it was not acceptable in terms of design.
