Jorge "el Roña" Castro
surprised in these hours by remembering his friendship with
Diego Maradona
, giving details about the most controversial side in the life of the 10, that of excesses and his addiction to drugs.
The former boxer participated as a guest in a streaming program on
YouTube
and told an anecdote that went viral on social networks due to the raw nature of his testimony.
Like
Diego
, Roña, also nicknamed "
Locomotora
", was an idol of Argentine sports, in his case in the ring.
In 1994 he was
world champion
in the middleweight category, and his defense against John David Jackson in Philadelphia had an unforgettable knockout.
"It was the hand of God
," he said in a conference after his left-handed shot, which went around the world and put him forever in boxing history.

The Santa Cruz native won by technical knockout in the ninth round in Monterrey.
Maradona was also united by his passion for
Boca
but mainly by the fact that they had shared a lot of time together when the man born in
Caleta Olivia
settled in
Italy
to take a leap in his career.
They became very close friends, and almost became part of his family.
El Roña always says that
Don Diego
was a boxing fan and watched all of his fights.
On Monday night, Castro was a guest on
El Loco y el Cuerdo
, a series that is broadcast on YouTube and is hosted by journalist
Flavio Azzaro
and the former president of Independiente,
Andrés Ducatenzeiler
.
In a relaxed environment, where the premise is to speak without a filter, Roña spoke about Diego like never before and recreated a situation that he had to live with him.
All with laughter, but very loud.
"I had a friend of mine who did this to Diego, he made a letter disappear," Roña began his story, describing Maradona's encounter with a boy who wanted to perform a magic trick on him.
"No, magic is what I do," he says, which was the response of 10.
And he finished his story: "He went to the kitchen, came back and brought a silver plate, with some lines on it and said... 'See? It disappeared...'".
The ex-boxer's story also included the gesture of "snorting" cocaine, which made the story even more crude.
Every day you can discover a new anecdote about Diego.
I had not heard what Roña Castro tells, terrible magician.

Castro, 56 years old, remained in the environment once he decided to retire from boxing.
Known for his personal experiences, such as the fact of having 15 children "recognized and I must have some shots in the air too", his personality made him enter the house of
Big Brother Famosos
, a reality show that aired on Telefe in 2007 with much success.
"I tried cocaine in the United States, I almost died, I had tachycardia, I wanted to vomit. It wasn't for me. I prefer to 'get high' with champagne and be calm. I love champagne. Nowadays, thanks to what I achieved with boxing "I can drink a good wine, I used to drink Termidor," he said recently in an interview with journalist Germán Bellizzi, from TyC Sports.
There they also asked him about his friendship with Maradona and the excesses: "I never got involved in anything.
I was neutral, everyone did what they wanted
. You have it there and if you want to take it, you take it. If you don't want to, don't take it." I'm not going to give names, but there are many people in showbiz who I saw drinking. No one can tell me. What I do like is gambling. I once went to Saint Martin Island and won $187,000. "In Monte Carlo I lived above the bridge where the racing cars pass and in that place there was a casino. It was close by."
And he gave his opinion very angrily about Diego's death: "I feel like they let him die. Sons of bitches, shitty living things. He was an idol of the world and they let him die. With all the money he had, I would have put him in a hospital inside the house. After he died, everything came to light. All those scourges that were around him were freeloaders. That's why I get my friends," said Roña, who once defined himself as "the "Maradona of boxing."
