There was an accident between a scooter and a pedestrian in Nuremberg.

Nuremberg - On Monday evening, March 11th, a serious traffic accident occurred in Nuremberg's Garden City between a three-wheeled large scooter and a pedestrian.

An 86-year-old suffered serious injuries.

“Around 6:30 p.m., an 86-year-old man wanted to cross Julius-Loßmann-Straße a few meters away from the pedestrian crossing of the traffic lights there in the direction of the Finkenbrunn tram stop,” the police said in the press release.

At the same time, a 53-year-old woman drove her three-wheeled scooter out of town from Katzwanger Strasse and turned left onto Julius-Loßmann-Strasse.

This resulted in a collision between the driver of the Piaggio and the older man.
