Around 350 customs officers are searching objects in six federal states on suspicion of illegal work.

Erfurt - Customs searched homes, business premises and construction sites in six federal states on suspicion of illegal work.
Two arrest warrants were executed, as customs announced on Tuesday in Erfurt.
The focus of the investigation, which was directed against four accused, is in Thuringia's state capital.
There were also searches in Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Hamburg, Hesse and Saxony.
The defendants, aged 42, 43 and 46, are accused of “gang-like withholding and embezzlement of social security contributions and illegally obtaining residence permits,” it said.
A 33-year-old is accused of aiding and abetting.
The Erfurt public prosecutor’s office is responsible for the investigation.
According to the information, social security contributions amount to 1.6 million euros.
According to customs officials, around 350 officers were involved in the searches of a total of 24 objects.
Among other things, they confiscated computers and smartphones.
