“Caricaturist, illustrator, whitewasher”: The artist Hans Reiser from Reichersbeuern, who is also well known to readers of the Tölzer Kurier through his weekly “Winzerer” contributions, is exhibiting in the municipal gallery on Elbestrasse in Geretsried.

His pictures and drawings can be seen from Sunday, March 17th to Sunday, April 7th.

The vernissage will take place on Friday, March 15th.

The Bad Tölz Historical Association is a member of various, mostly regional, historical associations.

Many of these clubs or institutions publish yearbooks with numerous articles that are also of interest to the Oberland.

At the monthly meeting this Monday, March 11th, at 8 p.m. in the Gasthof Metzgerbräu, the newly published yearbooks will be presented in collaboration with the city archives, including the yearbook of the Association for Christian Art with articles about the Kalvarienberg, the Mühlfeld and the Franciscan Church in Bad Tölz.

Four emergency services from the Kochler Mountain Rescue Service helped a man from the Munich area on Rauteck on Saturday.

According to on-call manager Toni Geiger, the 19-year-old misjudged the snow conditions on the way from Altjoch towards Heimgarten and made an emergency call.

Because hypothermia was suspected, he was rescued by helicopter and looked after by helpers in the valley.

Relatives then took him home.

The Kochler police are trying to solve an accident.

According to a press report, a Kochler woman (45) parked her Opel in the parking lot at the train station at 8 a.m. on Friday.

When she returned around 3:45 p.m., she discovered that a previously unknown driver had presumably crashed into her left rear fender during a parking maneuver.

He then left without caring about the material damage to the Opel amounting to around 2,000 euros.
