The Ministry of Health's disciplinary prosecutor, Attorney Tomer Degani, filed a complaint against Hannaiv in July of last year.

Hannaiv was arrested alongside his friend, 35-year-old Yaakov Danil from Ramat Gan, who is suspected of committing a sexual offense against a baby less than a year old.
According to the police, the investigation revealed that in Danil's possession were found thousands of films and photos with distinct pedophile content, including documentation of adult sexual offenses against babies and children, as well as extensive correspondence on pedophilia issues with other men.
From the analysis of Danil's correspondence, the investigators reached the suspect Hannaiv, arrested him and seized the mobile devices and computers in his possession.
In several correspondences between the two, it appeared that Yaakov recommended to Hanaev about blurring drugs that would be used to reduce resistance in children during sexual assault.
